Ambassador Eric Rubin traveled to Blagoevgrad, June 27thto greet the new Interim President of AUBG Dr. David Evans and to meet members of the Board of Trustees.
More than 1,000 students from over 40 countries come together to live and study at AUBG’s campus this academic year.
Established in September 1991, the University is the first American-style, English language, liberal arts educational institution in Eastern Europe, which is a unique cooperative venture created with the support of the U.S. and Bulgarian governments, the Open Society Institute, and the University of Maine.
