
Ambassador Eric Rubin participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony of Visteon’s Technical Engineering Center in Sofia today. American Visteon Electronics Company operates in 19 countries and has more than 11,000 employees worldwide. Visteon’s new Bulgarian research and development center, with some 700 employees, is the leading supplier of automotive electronics and engineering solutions for a wide range of key global customers including GM, Ford, BMW, Mazda, Daimler, and Renault. Visteon’s software center in Sofia has grown to become one of the company’s largest software operations globally and the largest automotive research and development facility in Bulgaria. The opening ceremony was attended by President Plevneliev, Visteon Electronics employees, members of the business, members of the American Chamber of Commerce, and media representatives.
