On June 13 Ambassador Eric Rubin visited G.S. Rakovski Military Academy to deliver a lecture on Bulgaria’s important role in the NATO alliance. While at the Academy, Ambassador Rubin was invited to tour the recently renovated King‘s Halls, which are filled with masterpieces of ceramics, wood, and crystal. Tsar Boris III made extensive use of these halls during his reign, including by hosting important officials and events. He also met there with all final year Academy students to convey the significance of their service in the Bulgarian Army.
