During Thracian Eagle 2016, the recent joint exercise at Novo Selo Training Area, the 131st Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, 104th Fighter Wing, Barnes Air National Guard Base, Massachusetts, airmen donated about 3,200 leva for supplies, toys and games for the children of Buratino Kindergarten in the Village of Kostievo, Maritsa Municipality. A total of 212 volunteers from the 131st Expeditionary Fighter Squadron worked hard to complete this huge project. The children and teachers found the volunteers’ efforts well worthwhile and were extremely happy with the results.
