U.S. Embassy Sofia was delighted to welcome Bulgarian Grand Master Veselin Topalov for friendly chess games with 14 lucky embassy employees and foundation members. The Embassy proudly works closely with Topalov Foundation to promote and support young, talented Bulgarian and American chess players. One employee managed to play our Grand Master to a draw!
