Congratulations to the 22nd graduating class of American University in Bulgaria! During his commencement address, Ambassador Eric Rubin underlined America’s long-term commitment to Bulgaria, an important partner in Europe and the Transatlantic Alliance. He also encouraged the graduates to make a difference in the world with their talents and abilities, and in so doing to “join the ranks of those who came before us and had the wisdom and courage to recognize that the success of our ideals and values will only endure if we see that our self-interest lies in the well-being of other peoples and other nations.”
