The Regional Support Center at the U.S. Embassy in Sofia is looking to recruit a student intern.

- Present enrollment in a university with clear intent to continue studying through the time of the internship;
- Good working level English language speaking/reading/writing ability;
- Experience in a professional work environment (e.g. previous internship or clerical work) is preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to self-start and take initiative.
Eligibility criteria: Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of appointment. Only students who are non-U.S. citizens in Bulgaria or Bulgarian students studying abroad are eligible for the intern program, including any foreign nationals who are legal resident students in Bulgaria. Applicant must be a student in good academic standing. Applicant must have demonstrated the potential to accomplish the type of work to be performed. Applicant should be able to provide a certified document from the educational institution that the student is enrolled. If selected, the student must pass a background check and receive security and medical certifications before commencement of the internship.
