Ambassador Eric Rubin and Prime Minister Boyko Borissov today marked the launch of the modernized Petrich compressor station. Two leading American companies, Solar Turbines and Honeywell, contributed to the upgrade of this station. This state-of-the-art compressor promotes Bulgaria’s efforts in energy diversification and energy security. The ceremony also was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev and Energy Minister Temenuzhka Petkova, Bulgartransgaz Executive Director Georgi Gegov, Glavbolgarstroy Management Board President Kalin Peshov, members of Parliament and media.
