The following is a joint press release by the United States Embassy, the America for Bulgaria Foundation, the American Chamber of Commerce, the American University of Bulgaria, The American College of Sofia, Nu Boyana Film Studios, and Muzeiko Children’s Museum.
The partners in the United with Ukraine initiative are proud to announce an additional job fair for people displaced from Ukraine in Varna on May 14, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the “Mladost B” hall of Varna’s Palace of Culture and Sports, on bul. “Knyaz Boris I” 115. The organizers welcome all displaced people from Ukraine who have decided to stay and work in Bulgaria.
The fair will offer participants the opportunity to connect with U.S., Bulgarian, and international employers, and also to receive information about other key resources such as legal advice, assistance finding accommodation, access to learning, help with resume building, day care for children (in Sofia), mental health support, cultural orientation, and more. The organizers wish to extend their special thanks to the Office of the Governor of Varna for its continued generous support to the many thousands of Ukrainians in Varna, and without whose help our event would not have been possible.
The event is part of the United with Ukraine campaign, a joint initiative of the U.S. Embassy in Sofia, the America for Bulgaria Foundation, the American Chamber of Commerce, the American University of Bulgaria, The American College of Sofia, Nu Boyana Film Studios, and Muzeiko Children’s Museum – Sofia, to assist displaced persons. Partners in the initiative are working together to meet the needs of Ukrainian refugees fleeing Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
