Registration for the Bulgarian Creative Writing Competition is from October 9 to October 25, 2017!
The Bulgarian Creative Writing Competition was initiated in 2011. The competition is open to students from 6th to 12th grade and each year more than 4000 participants have the opportunity to express their creative thoughts in English. The students have one hour to respond to one of several creative, unusual topics. The goal is to create their own unique pieces of writing and to think “outside the box”. Once all the essays have been received, panels of regional judges convene and select the top four essays from each grade level. The selected essays are sent on to national judging when the best three essays from each grade level are determined. The winners and their teachers are invited to the awards ceremony hosted by the American University.
