You may request personal pick up during your appointment. Pick up service is available Monday through Thursday between 9:00 and 9:15 a.m. except for American and Bulgarian official holidays.

• To pick up the passport yourself: you must reply to the notification email when the passport is ready with your preferred date, and bring your current passport for cancellation (if you have it in your possession).
• To give permission for someone else to pick up your passport: you must reply to the notification email when the passport is ready with the preferred date as well as the name and birth date of the person who will pick up your passport. He/she will need to bring an original letter, signed by you, giving permission to pick up the passport (no notarization required) as well as your current passport for cancellation (if you have it in your possession).

We may not process your request for passport pick up if it is send after business hours. PLEASE ALLOW 24 h. ADVANCE NOTICE.
