U.S. Embassy Promotes Global Entrepreneurship Week

logoThe U.S. Embassy in Bulgaria is pleased to support this year’s Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) that is going to take place from November 14th till November 30th. It will bring together young entrepreneurs, farmers, professional organizations, NGOs, and government representatives in a number of initiatives aimed at increasing global prosperity, building secure communities, and solving pressing social challenges.

Participants in the Business Alternatives Program of the Trust for Social Achievement, in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy representatives will participate in a networking event at the Central Military Club on November 17th. On the next day,  November 18th,  the U.S. Embassy will organize a panel discussion on Youth Entrepreneurship that will highlight the opportunities in the agro- and food-industries. The event will take place at the American Corner on 4A, Slaveykov Sq.

The Global Entrepreneurship Week was first held in 2007 and since then millions of people have participated in myriad of events held in more than a hundred countries around the world. This year’s GEW will be focused on entrepreneurship of traditionally marginalized groups, including women, youth and minority communities and will celebrate entrepreneurship as one of  the most admired American values.
